Trips
As part of our enrichment offer, each class at Westbridge Academy participates in at least three trips per school year (at least one per term). Our children experience a range of educational visits including London landmarks, religious places of worship, theatre trips and exploring the world-famous museums of London. Year 6 pupils experience an unforgettable weekend stay at Marchants Hill PGL in Surrey. These diverse experiences benefit our children greatly as they not only amplify the school curriculum but help to build cultural capital.
Sports
Westbridge Academy children relish competing in a range of sporting events across Wandsworth as well as against STEP Academy Trust's other schools. Annual football, cricket and netball tournaments take place in the summer term with Key Stage Two children competing.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club is available each day from 7:30am at the cost of £1 per child per session. Children are able to select a healthy breakfast and interact with other children. You may book your child onto Breakfast Club via the school office or using the Arbor app.
STEP Zone - After School*
STEP Zone takes place from 3:20pm until 5:45pm each day at the cost of £5 per child per session. Children must be collected by 5:45pm. Children are able to bring a healthy snack (nothing containing nuts) whilst they interact with other children from across the school. You may book your child onto Breakfast Club via the school office or using the Arbor app.
*Please be aware that STEP Zone is not available on the final day of the Autumn, Spring and Summer Term.
After School Clubs
Westbridge offers a wide range of after school clubs. Unlike many schools, all of our clubs are only £1 to attend per session. We believe that extra curriculuar activity is an essential part of our pupils' development.
After school clubs are available each day until 4:20 pm. These can be booked through Arbor or with our school office team. Please read the documents below to see what after school clubs are offered each half term at Westbridge.
