Parent Governor Coffee Morning

Dear parents and carers,

Our school Governors are a group of people, separate from the staff team but involved in the school, who help to make Westbridge the best school it can be.

We come from different backgrounds and all care about education.  We often visit the school and meet every term. We discuss all aspects of school life, keep on eye on how everything is going and support the Headteacher and the staff. We also have a staff governor and two parent governors, whose views are really important.

One of our tasks is to find out what parents and carers think about Westbridge, so we would love to have a chance to meet you.  Next Tuesday we will be in school at the start of the day. Do come along and join us if you can for a chat and a cup of coffee.

Might you be interested in joining us? We are searching for a new parent governor to replace someone whose children have left Westbridge now. Our parent governors help us to understand more the views of Westbridge families. We will be sending information about what's involved soon, and I can tell you more next week.

We are really looking forward to meeting you and hope you can make it next Tuesday.

Eve Warren, Chair of Governors
